The journal "Bulletin of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine" is a specialized peer-reviewed publication that publishes high-quality, theoretically grounded scientific articles on current topics in the field of legal in particular scientific and research materials devoted to the problems of legal regulation in the field of European integration processes, as well as legislative initiatives formed taking into account world experience and national traditions.

To ensure a high intellectual and scientific level of articles, an editorial board was created, which includes legal scholars from Ukraine, the USA, Germany, France, Portugal, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Hungary, Romania, Moldova, and the Republic of Kazakhstan. A defining approach to the journal's editorial policy is to give priority to articles that include innovative ideas rather than generally known provisions.

Within the framework of the general issues of research, the most relevant areas for publications on the pages of the publication have been recognized, in particular, the following areas:

1. adaptation of the legislation of Ukraine to the law of the European Union in accordance with the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU;
2. restoration of Ukraine in the post-war period;
3. ensuring national security and defense, investigating war crimes and crimes against peace, human security and international legal order;
4. mechanisms for prosecution, compensation for damage and compensation for damages caused to citizens of Ukraine, legal entities, the state of Ukraine, and natural objects by armed aggression of the Russian Federation;
5. reforming the legal system of Ukraine in terms of national and international trends in the development of a legal and social state;
6. problems of ensuring state information security, protection of personal data, information with limited access, countering negative informational influences;
7. development prospects and problems of improving electronic governance and justice;
8. application of digital technologies (electronic money, smart contracts, blockchain technologies, etc.);
9. legal provision of the principles of age, gender, racial, religious equality, equality of social minorities in society, as well as protection of human and citizen rights in all spheres of social life;
10. legal assessment of migration processes and their consequences;
11. regulation of the status of the occupied territories, ensuring compliance and protection of the rights of citizens living in these territories;
12. problems of use, reproduction and protection of natural resources and complexes;
13. solving problems related to the consequences of global warming, man-made disasters and natural disasters in the legal field;
14. regulatory and legal support for the regulation of the agricultural land market;
15. legal and criminological support for countering corruption.

The journal "Journal of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine" is a platform for the exchange of opinions and a discussion platform in a scientifically based manner on current and acute problems of modern legislation and legal practice. Original scientific articles, analytical review materials, reviews of books/magazines by experts in the field of legal theory and practicing lawyers are invited for publication.
