National security problems in Ukraine have always been a topical issue, as evidenced by both state policy and legislative support for its implementation. Therefore, in order to ensure the National Security of Ukraine, a number of issues were studied that required the protection of public relations by the state, namely those related to treason, espionage, etc. These issues were brought up to date in Ukraine and became especially relevant in connection with the military aggression of the Russian Federation in 2014. A number of legislative and other normative legal documents were adopted, a number of proposals were made regarding the inclusion of additions and changes both in Criminal legislation and criminal procedural, administrative law and process. In 2018, the Law "On the National Security of Ukraine" was adopted, which defined and delimited the powers and functions of state bodies in the spheres of national security and defense of Ukraine, determined the basis for the integration of policies and procedures of state authorities and other state bodies, and detailed the functions of these bodies in the plane which was specifically related to national security and defense, and the main thing that was highlighted was control over the bodies and formations of the sector related to the security and defense of the country. However, as practice has shown, after the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, not all legal relations were settled. Practically during the war, a number of changes and additions to the criminal and criminal procedural codes are adopted. The authors actualize certain issues related to collaborationism, assistance to the aggressor state. Research is being conducted on the emergence and formation of these concepts, which influence the formation of policies regarding national security and treason. The article provides their legal characteristics and determines their place in the system of the National Security of Ukraine. The authors analyzed individual works and normative documents and, based on the use of individual methods, conducted a historical, legal and comparative analysis of criminal-legal conflicts related to national security in Ukraine and indicated the possibilities of their resolution in war conditions. Therefore, the work is not only theoretical, but also applied.
