In the article the urgency review types of control in a democratic state is justified. The author thinks that the nature of social control in a democracy is based on the dualism of civil society and government, also state and national sovereignty. On this basis, it appears a difference between government and non-government control and internal and external control. The importance of distinguishing between supranational, national (domestic) and state control is stressed. The relationship between them has a direct relationship with a common characteristic as a democratic state. In addition, in the article features such controls the overall (cross-cutting) and specialized and previous, current and next are analyzed. Also other possible classification control are considered.
It is concluded that the types of control may overlap, but they are not fully replace each other. They function as one system, creating a single mechanism aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of control activities.
