Cooperation between Ukraine and the European Community is of great importance for establishing political and economic ties. The main goal of the work is to analyze the monograph by Streltsova, which examines theoretical and practical issues of the constitutionalization of the process of Ukraine's association with the European Union. Studying in detail the work of Streltsova, the author found that supranationality as a phenomenon of modern law, identifies constitutional and legal features in the legal nature of the Union. It is established that for the association it is necessary to adapt national legislation to EU norms and standards. The study of the legal nature of association agreements between the EU and third countries revealed that these agreements are an important legal instrument for the supranational influence of the Union on the constitutionality of the law and order of third countries. The author defines constitutionalization as a permanent process of constitutional design of the most significant social relations and values for the purpose of further objectifying constitutional norms, principles and values in all structural components of the legal system
