The article, based on the results of the criminological analysis of the official statistics of law enforcement and judicial bodies over a number of years, the study of the achievements of representatives of various fields of knowledge and information messages in the Internet space, states the spread of the general trend – digitalization of the way of life of a modern person and its illegal activities, which leads to a significant change in the qualitative component of crime. From now on, this fact will determine the strategy of crime prevention in general and its individual manifestations, the commission of which becomes possible with the help of digital technologies. A special place in this preventive strategy should be given to countermeasures against digitized criminal information aggression. The article reveals the connection between aggression and information, provides the author's vision of the process of digitization of infoaggression, and reveals the specifics of this process. Such features include, in particular: scale and scalability; anonymization, automation and targeting. With their help, the scale of the challenge that society is facing today is conveyed. It is proved that the list of criminal offenses, which are peculiar markers of the problem of digitalization of infoaggression, is practically inexhaustible. Using the example of offenses provided for by Articles 120, 161, 182, 436, 4362 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, their quantitative parameters are analyzed and the methods of spreading infoaggression in the Internet space are illustrated. At the same time, it is noted that today some forms of infoaggression do not receive at least a legal evaluation. It is concluded that the predictions regarding the symbiosis of crime and the dark side of the digital age will be disappointing if effective countermeasures against the digitalization of infoaggression are not developed in advance and are not prepared for new challenges that are accompanied by the digitalization process as such.
