The article carries out a comprehensive study of the issues of abuse and corruption risks in the sphere of dimensional and weight control (DWC) as an object of administrative and legal regulation. The emphasis is on the analysis of the regulatory, institutional and practical components of the administrative activities of authorized bodies, in particular Ukrtransbezpeka. From the standpoint of administrative law, it is substantiated that effective prevention of such phenomena requires not only strengthening legal regulation, but also modernization of administrative procedures, automation of control and implementation of public monitoring. The study reveals the theoretical and legal principles of combating abuse and corruption offenses in the sphere of public control, characterizes the legal nature, signs and types of such acts. The author's interpretation of the concept of "abuse and corruption risks in the sphere of DWC" is proposed, which takes into account the specifics of administrative and tortious manifestations and the organizational and legal status of inspectors. The corresponding categories are distinguished by the nature of the offense, the source of risk and administrative and legal consequences. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of administrative and legal prevention mechanisms: controlling, regulatory, institutional and digital instruments. A legal assessment of the national practice of detecting violations in the field of GVK was carried out, typical schemes of abuse of office and gaps in law enforcement were identified. The effectiveness of existing forms of response, in particular administrative liability, disciplinary procedures and internal audit, was analyzed. In the context of comparative jurisprudence, international experience in combating corruption practices in the field of transport and congestion control was systematized. Effective institutional and technological models based on automated control, data publicity and public participation were identified. Author's recommendations for the implementation of relevant experience in Ukraine, taking into account the national administrative and legal system and the challenges of wartime, are proposed. The materials of the article can be used to improve regulatory legal acts, develop anti-corruption policies, administrative reform in the field of transport and professional training of civil servants.
